The main mission of WP2 bees is to develop the operational scenarios and layout options in collaboration with the relevant work packages. To do this they have to provide specifications for the new beam line elements (strength, length, aperture, field quality) and, where relevant, for their powering.

WP2 bees evaluate the overall performance reach in collaboration not only with the HL WPs but also with the experiments considering intensity limitations resulting from impedance, electron-cloud and beam-beam effects and their interplay, as well as the potential mitigation strategies.

These bees provide support to all the beehive.
