The four Quench Heater Discharge Power Supply (DQHDS) pre-series units have recently arrived at CERN. These units, produced in Japan, by NICHICON CORPORATION, as part of the collaborative effort between CERN and KEK, were thoroughly inspected upon arrival, and successfully passed all functional tests. This achievement validates the commencement of the series production, which will be carried out in two phases, with production of 360 units by March 2025 and an additional 270 units by early 2026.
