First jacks for the HL-LHC IT String delivered
After the successful validation of four jacks from the first batch produced by UNIOR components d.o.o in Serbia, the second batch of the pre-series production (in total, 19 units) destined for installation in the IT String, has successfully passed the Site Acceptance Tests at the EN-MME main workshop, performed in close collaboration with BE-GM.

D1 first series magnet test in KEK
In the month of June, the first series separation dipole magnet MBXF1, manufactured in Hitachi (Japan), was tested at KEK in vertical position at 1.9 K.

D2 prototype test results
The power tests of the D2 prototype were completed in May. This is the first full-size recombination dipole giving 4.5 T over a 7.8 m magnetic length, manufactured at ASG under the helm of INFN Genova.
