An HL-LHC gallery section ready for painting! The HL-LHC civil engineering works at Point 1 are progressing day by day. The UA17 section shown on the photo is ready for painting. The diameter of this gallery is about 6 m. The two walls at the back-side correspond to the mobile-shielding walls with openings of 1.5-m wide.
